SxanPro Secures Growth Funding from Strong Capital Partner GVC Americas
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (March 7, 2023) – SxanPro, a healthcare supply management technology company, announced today that it has secured growth funding for accelerated expansion in the US healthcare market. SxanPro’s strong growth in 2021 and 2022 has unlocked substantial opportunities to help more hospitals reduce costs and FTEs as well as improve transparency into product expiration, par-levels, and product utilization. Investment in additional employees will support this and enable SxanPro to work with more hospital systems as well as distributors and manufacturers in the medical device space.
SxanPro’s patented mobile technology scans the UDI barcode to capture manufacturer information on medical supplies and capital assets as well as expiration dates and lot numbers. By leveraging this technology, hospitals can replace manual, time consuming inventory processes with quick, accurate scanning that provides valuable data in less time. The company continues to partner with hospitals nationwide to reduce waste and recover resources throughout the supply chain and has recently contracted with some of the largest healthcare providers in the industry.
“Our relationship with GVC Americas has been in sync from the beginning, as they immediately understood our vision and strategy. They understand not only the business needs of a rapidly growing company, but also the immediate need to help improve healthcare supply chain with technology. I am excited to welcome them to the table and collaborate as we expand our footprint,” says Ashlea Souffrou, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SxanPro.
Founded in 2019, SxanPro has developed and launched patented, user-focused, free-standing technology that solves real, substantial problems for healthcare facilities in the US. Souffrou’s experience in the healthcare supply chain – and her passion for solving problems - have guided this process. The company continues to lead technology innovation with new solutions on its platform.
“Ashlea and the SxanPro team will make a very real difference for healthcare facilities in the US. I am proud to be able to support her and provide guidance as she grows her business, especially as women-owned businesses increasingly make an impact in our economy. Ashlea’s drive and focus is characteristic of the owner-operator GVC Americas seeks to support and learn from,” says Eli Boufis, Head of GVC Americas.
